The Academy

Here’s another reason why Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy isn’t like ordinary driving schools: our location. Our team of coaches is based at Mercedes-Benz World, the home of Mercedes-Benz in the UK, at the heart of the historic Brooklands racing circuit.

If you’re having lessons on our purpose built handling facilities, this is where they’ll be. It’s where kids who are at least 1.5m tall can begin to learn the basics in a safe, traffic-free environment. It’s where you can put your vehicle control skills to the test on the twists and turns of our large handling circuits. It’s where you can begin experience the challenging conditions of our wet skid circle and wet & dry straights and understand the risks involved.  All our packages include lessons on these unique facilities, which allow learners to perfect manoeuvres like emergency stops in a completely controlled environment.

When you’re not taking a lesson, there’s so much more for you and your family to see and do at Mercedes-Benz World. Walk around our exhibitions. Get up close to classic and prestige cars like the Gullwing and the Maybach. Test-drive our latest models. Try a Driving Experience on the handling circuits or the muddy slopes, steep climbs and water obstacles of our Off-Road Terrain.

Mercedes-Benz World is open 10am to 6pm, 7 days a week and admission is free.

On road in your area?
Naturally, our coaches also give students road lessons in their local area too. Our coverage area is growing rapidly as more handpicked coaches join the team. They can collect you from home, college or work and drop you off afterwards. To find out if we cover your area, call 0845 123 0055.
